Dr. Lukert Earns Chiropractic Sports Physician Certification

February 2008— Dr. Brett Lukert, D.C., has obtained the postgraduate designation of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® (CCSP®) by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians™ (ACBSP™). The CCSP certification required Dr. Lukert to attend more than 100 hours of a postgraduate program specific to physical fitness and the evaluation and treatment of sports injuries. Following completion of these hours, Dr. Lukert successfully passed a comprehensive written examination, which was administered in Chicago.

“I enjoy working with athletes,” said Dr. Lukert, “and I felt like I needed these qualifications in order to best treat them.”

This sport specific training aids Dr. Lukert in the treatment and prevention of athletic injuries by enhancing his diagnostic skills and patient care. The CCSP accreditation provides a uniform standard of education that assures teams and athletes that Dr. Lukert has attained the qualifications necessary to effectively treat and rehabilitate sports injuries. He joins more than 4,000 others internationally who hold this designation.

“With this accreditation, our team offers a unique combination of chiropractic expertise with the latest in sports rehabilitation,” said Dr. Lukert. “Our goal is to help athletes maximize performance and minimize the chances of injury. These specialized services are applicable to a wide variety of athletes, ranging from those in our area schools and colleges to those who simply want to get the most out of their recreational activities.”

Second Annual Patient Appreciation and Food Drive

November 2007— Lukert Chiropractic & Wellness brought a little cheer and thankfulness to our offices by hosting its Second Annual Patient Appreciation Day and Food Drive.

For a donation of a canned goods and non-perishable food and pantry items, patients received a free chiropractic adjustment and treatment. Many patients on wellness care and/or currently on a treatment plan were able to take advantage of a complimentary service while doing something good for others.

New and prospective patients had a chance to visit our offices and schedule a free consultation for a later date.

All donations went to the local food pantry.

"Healthy Schools" Donation to Local Schools

May 2007 — In our continuing effort to encourage and promote health and wellness in our community, Lukert Chiropractic & Wellness has made a contribution to local schools through our "Healthy Schools" program. These donations are to be used towards health and fitness-related needs at the schools that may not be covered with existing funds. Five Star Quality Service Award

April 2007 — Lukert Chiropractic & Wellness in Sabetha was honored with Integrity Management’s prestigious Five Star Quality Service Award.

The Five Star Quality Service Award was developed by Integrity Management as a means of promoting and publicizing superior chiropractic clinics that excel in patient treatment, customer service and professionalism. Clinics must go through an extensive examination and are graded on things such as punctuality, patient communication, equipment, the quality of services provided and patient satisfaction in order to qualify for the award. The Five Star Quality Service Award was established to provide a uniform grading system that rates quality in chiropractic clinics across the country. Just as five star hotels are synonymous with quality service, five star clinics ensure patients they will receive quality care.

Lukert Chiropractic & Wellness was one of only a few clinics chosen among chiropractic clinics across the country to receive this distinction.
